This role delivers high‑quality management reporting, analysis, budgeting and financial oversight to support decision‑making across multiple operational departments. It also plays a key part in strengthening financial controls, improving processes, managing stock and cashflow, and partnering with leaders to enhance overall business performance. Client Details Our client is a billion dollar organisation in the automotive industry that operates 8 dealerships across Victoria. Description Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, KPIs, and actionable insights for senior leadership. Develop and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor performance across key operational departments. Lead monthly review meetings with department managers, identifying risks, opportunities, and recommending improvement actions. Complete intercompany reconciliations and support year‑end processes, including financial statements, audit schedules, and auditor liaison. Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and scenario modelling aligned with business objectives. Oversee cash management, receipting compliance, and daily cashflow monitoring. Provide commercial and operational financial support, including pricing analysis, margin reviews, cost assessments, and profitability improvement initiatives. Analyse departmental and product‑line performance, presenting insights and recommendations to improve financial outcomes. Monitor warranty claims, receivables, supervise stocktakes with strong variance investigation. Strengthen internal controls, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliant document retention and records management. Profile A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related CA/CPA qualified Big 4/Mid Tier Background preferred (audit or business services) Commercially minded with strong communication skills to partner across Sales, Service, Parts and Administration Strong understanding of internal controls, process governance and continuous improvement. Experience in automotive industry preferred but not essential.
